View of the Gaycre valley from the terrace | |||
|
We serve breakfast with home-made jams and fresh fruit on the
patio or the terrace.
Guests are welcome to use the sunbeds and barbecue on our large terrace. This
has magnificent views of the valley of the Gaycre, a tributary of the river Tarn.
At present we have a plunge pool for cooling off!
From the house there is a spectacular 15
minute drive down to the river Tarn itself and the village of
Trébas where there are cafés,
restaurants and shops. There is a Sunday morning
farmers' market in
July and August. Alternatively, at a similar distance from Barbiel but
downstream on the Tarn, is the strikingly attractive
village of Ambialet, situated within a loop in the river, which
also has cafés and restaurants. In the opposite direction there
is a good supermarket only 10 minutes’ drive from the house in
the town of Réquista, in the
Aveyron, where
there are also all amenities and a municipal swimming pool.
Tariff: High season – July and August
Charges are per room per night and include continental
breakfast.
